Abigail Malortie

Partner

Abigail joined the bank in December 2020 and became a partner in 2024.

After graduating from Cambridge University, she qualified as a solicitor before moving into the charity sector where she worked as a community organiser and co-founded an educational charity, the Centre for London. Abigail then worked as a strategy adviser in the Department for Education and later as a strategy consultant at EY-Parthenon.

She has held a wide range of positions within bank, working with the Product, Risk, Private Banking, Finance and Treasury teams, as well as with the Master Charitable Trust.  She has been instrumental in embedding our purpose (to be ‘good bankers and good citizens’) at every level of the organisation and led our successful B-Corp certification, which evidences that purpose.

Abigail’s weekends are mainly spent running around after her young daughter; occasionally she and her husband manage to enjoy an evening together at the opera or hosting friends for dinner.
