Andy joined C. Hoare & Co. in 2007 and has over 35 years’ experience working within the treasuries of a number of London banks, including Swedbank and Den Danske Bank.
In the course of his career, Andy has experienced a number of market crises and events while trading most treasury products including bonds, interest-rate derivatives and foreign exchange. He sits on the bank’s Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO) and has oversight of deposits.
Outside the bank, Andy sits on the Bank of England’s UK Money Markets Code Sub-Committee, which sets out best practice in the unsecured, repo, and securities lending market in the UK. His interests include politics and he has been an Epping Forest District Councillor. He also enjoys skiing and is a West Ham United season-ticket holder.
